The MTN Group operates three business divisions: MTN-SA (South Africa), MTN International, and Strategic Investments. MTN is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange under the Telecommunications Service Sector (which falls under the Industrial Non-Cyclical Services).

Business Issue
MTN South Africa has a current subscriber base of over 12 million. As a large organization, MTN was faced with the challenge of managing high volume correspondence within the customer services department of 3, 500 faxes on a daily basis. Customer Services Administration Manager Sean Van Der Westhuizen has said that they found it took a considerable amount of time to process these faxes, which was simply "Not on" in a customer-centric business.

The Solution
